Storage

Keep refrigerated below 5°C. Always store fresh meat away from cooked meats. Once opened, use immediately. Suitable for home freezing. Freeze on day of purchase and use within one month. Defrost thoroughly in a refrigerator and use within 24 hours. Once defrosted, do not refreeze.

TO OVEN COOK. 190°C/375°F/Fan 170°C/Gas Mark 5 for approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Do not cook from frozen. Remove all packaging. Preheat oven to 190°C/375°F/Fan 170°C/Gas Mark 5. Add a little oil to a hot frying pan and brown the meat over a medium to high heat for 1-2 minutes to seal the meat. Once browned all over, transfer to an ovenproof tray. Add stock and root vegetables, cover and cook in the oven for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Always ensure food is cooked throughout before serving. Do not reheat. Let it rest for 20 minutes before serving for best results.
